2017, what an amazing year for the Pineapple Patch! This year we joined forces with The Red Republic to become The Pineapple Republic and we’ve never looked back!

Our biggest success story was our campaign with The Diamond Concierge. We created mass brand awareness by orchestrating a surprise marriage proposal at a Gold Coast cinema with a 2.14 carat diamond worth $80,000. This campaign went viral and received over $2 million worth of PR value and over 50 million views. Did we successfully create a viral campaign? Hell yeah we did!

Here’s how it all went down:

The last few months in the Pineapple Patch we have had huge success with lots of different events.

1

Pet PAW-Traits took place at Harbour Town Shopping Centre on the 3rd and 10th of December. The Pineapple Republic organised four legged influencers and media to attend the event which saw a line around the block of fur-babies waiting to see Santa.

50 Cavill Avenue completed a multi-million-dollar renovation and threw a party to celebrate for the tenants. The building was officially opened by Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation President, Perry Cross and GDI Property Group’s, Steve Gillard. The Pineapple Republic managed the publicity surrounding the re-launch and event management on the night.

4

MAXIM Hot 100 party celebrated Australia’s most talented, beautiful and successful women of 2017. The event took place at QT Hotel and saw The Pineapple Republic manage and run the event which catered to 700 guests. These included top tier influencers, sporting hero’s, media and reality TV stars.

Old Tom Restaurant and Bar officially opened on 23 November at Victoria Square in Broadbeach. The Restaurant and Bar pays homage to the 18th century prohibition era in the United Kingdom where public houses would have a carving of a tomcat outside their establishments to avoid the newly instated gin tax. The fit out features a luxurious plush dining room, marble flooring, library of Old English classics, and a public house-style facade to coincide with the era. The Pineapple Republic hosted a VIP media event for 130 guests and managed press in the lead up to the opening.

And last but not least we moved into our amazing new office on Cavill Avenue, Surfers Paradise.

All in all it was a great year for us Pineapples.

We wish you every success in 2018, and don’t forget to PARTY LIKE A PINEAPPLE!

Thank you,

Brooke, Kat and Amy x
