‘What is the best piece of advice you have ever received from your mum?’

Fleur Madden – Managing Director
“How can I come up with just one best piece of advice, when she is still giving it daily! Three pieces of advice stand out though – When I was younger it was to follow your heart, although she doesn’t always like it when I do, but that was what she taught me. Now that I am older she says to protect my heart. She always says you get out what you put in, so I have always put in 200% into everything I do and lastly always have your hair and nails done, it shows you take pride in your appearance and have good grooming.”

Rodica Titeica – Director
“Best piece of advice my mother gave me: Place value and importance on everything you do because what might seem insignificant usually has a greater underlying relevance to a much bigger picture!”

Lachlan Crutchfield- Snr Account Manager
“It’s hard to pull out any one piece of advice as being the best, but one thing I do remember is our talk about religion. She said it was up to me to choose my own as long as I was always a good person and did the best for myself, and those around me.
To this day that’s how I approach life and always will.”

Fleur Maxwell-Garrett – Account Manager
“My mum is a big believer in karma –  what goes around comes around. So she’s always taught me to be responsible for my actions and treat others how I’d want to be treated. Simple, but good advice!….And never leave the house without lipstick on!”

Mia Hamilton – Account Manager
“To stretch after exercising, eat quality food and always be true to myself.”

Alex Vickery – Account Manager
“She taught me everything I know – but the best lesson was probably to know your worth, and not accept anything less than what you deserve.”

Gemma Cobb – Snr PR Exec
“Best advice to me was to do what I love. She has always been so supportive of my decisions and always encourages me to follow my dreams. Mum has always said that if you really want something, you’ve got to go for it and make it happen!”

Danielle Trewin – PR Exec
“I think the best piece of advice or action I have learnt from my mum is not to judge and accept people for who they are! She’s also much more calm than I am – maybe I should still be taking her advice in that department!”

Lauren Faulkner – PR Exec
“Mum has given me A LOT of advice of the years… but the one thing she instilled in both my brother and I from a young age was to treat others how you want be treated.”

Alexandra Kerr – Personal Assistant
“My mum has always taught me to believe in myself, and to know that everyone has their own path in life – there is no right or wrong journey. Oh and to drink more water!!”
