Who we are
As our Creative Director, Mia has a unique talent in finding the truly remarkable in every product, service, organisation and person, and then getting other people to take notice. She is passionate about creating unique consumer experiences and finding new narratives for brands to explore.
Armed with 15 years’ experience, Mia has designed and led award winning campaigns for prominent brands including Suncorp Group, Westfield, Black Milk Clothing, Sabo Skirt, Hotel Tonight, Marriott Hotels, Accor Hotels, Pauls Milk, Doughnut Time and Zambrero. In 2017, Mia was recognised in Campaign Asia’s Top 30 Women to Watch in the Creative Industries for her experiential brand work.
Mia cut her teeth as an in-house fashion publicist for a prominent Australian menswear brand before joining The Red Republic in 2010. Seven years on, as our Creative Director, she is an exceptional strategic communicator, project manager, publicist and leader of teams.
In 2014 Mia won the National Consumer Marketing campaign of the year at the PRIA Golden Target Awards for Suncorp Bank runPositive and has received several other awards for large scale campaigns, including Westfield’s ‘The Stylist’s Apprentice’.
Having studied a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism, PR and Arts, Mia has a keen eye for recognising news values and generating story angles Mia’s capabilities include media relations, community relations, event management, internal communications, digital marketing, creative direction, social media and large scale experiential work.
Mia is a cat person, has a passion for interiors and makes a mean Pisco Sour.
