SCRUB CO.CASE STUDY
To launch organic beauty brand Scrub Co. in New Zealand, bring the brand to life creatively through design and photography and create online hype to attract both consumers and retailers.
We needed to position the brand as organic and natural, while dialling up the colourful and fun vibe of the packaging.
We kicked off the creative with a photo shoot inspired by the truth that nature, while often thought of as neutral is in fact wonderfully colourful.
Our shoot incorporated clashing coloured walls and plants which worked well in synergy with softer coloured styling. We used this new imagery to set an aesthetic for the brand’s website and social channels, defining their presence online, and provided ongoing art direction across all aspects of the brand’s visual identity.
We launched an NZ influencer seeding campaign, to generate third party content and employed social media advertising tactics and a sampling campaign to grow the brand’s database. As well as driving online sales, the brand’s social media channels, advertising and influencer posts caught the attention of major retailers.
