Mia cut her teeth as an in-house fashion publicist for a prominent Australian menswear brand before joining The Red Republic in 2010. Seven years on, as our Creative Director, she is an exceptional strategic communicator, project manager, publicist and leader of teams.
In 2014 Mia won the National Consumer Marketing campaign of the year at the PRIA Golden Target Awards for Suncorp Bank runPositive and has received several other awards for large scale campaigns, including Westfield’s ‘The Stylist’s Apprentice’. She has also won internal awards for Rising Star, Most Consistent and Best Campaign of the Year.
Having studied a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism and PR, Mia has a keen eye for recognising news values and generating story angles Mia’s capabilities include media relations, community relations, event management, internal communications, digital marketing, social media and large scale experiential work.
Mia has that unique talent in finding the truly remarkable in every product, service, organisation and person, and then getting other people to take notice. She also has an unrivalled little black book of contacts and an incredible creative mind. She is passionate about creating unique consumer experiences and finding new narratives for brands to explore.
Mia is a cat person, has a passion for interiors and makes a mean Pisco Sour.
