Red PR is known for its dynamic and passionate campaigns with successful outcomes, but to actually sit in the room and watch it all happen firsthand is something else. As an intern who is on the verge of what I like to call ‘a future mega successful PR career with Red PR (hopefully)’, I absolutely thrive on all that I learn within Red PR and I have found that the brain storming sessions are definitely on the top of my list of favourite moments….well that, and when Fleur’s dogs come in!

It can literally be said that during these brain storming sessions: no idea is a bad idea. No matter what idea someone pops up with, it will always lead to something and when you have clients wanting results it is priority to have creative and ‘out of the box’ ideas- something Red PR is known for. I have definitely witnessed that working amongst highly resourceful, savvy and strong women can only lead to one thing- results for the client and continued success for the company.

One of the main aspects that draws me to a public relations career is the creativity and the confidence that comes with it, and the ladies at Red PR ooze all that and more. While I aim to be successful and a complete benefit to my future clients, I am also aiming to have the freethinking, creative and inspiring ideas that seem to come so easily to those under the Red PR roof. During my four months so far with Red PR, I have helped with ‘The Stylist’s Apprentice’ cocktail event, a Reload Media photography event capturing their new office, the Grove Juice pop-up stand and Brisbane’s Boat Show fashion parade, but what I have also seen (and hopefully helped with) is the hard work to have it all form into reality from those very first brain storming sessions.

If there is one thing I have taken from Red PR, other than the fact I hope to never leave, is that some of the best ideas have been thought of while I have sat on the red bean bags and stared in awe. Ladies, I hope to one day be as creative and talented as you….oh, and I hope the red bean bags never go!
