When I arrived for work on the first day, I was impressed by the way the office had been designed. With bright red bean bags, couches and tastefully decorated walls and curtains, I felt that the whole vibe of the office complemented the creativity and hard work that the ladies at Red put in for each of their clients. And as Red’s managing director Fleur, stressed during one of the team meetings, I gradually realized how important it is for an agency to think globally and have a standing on an international platform as Red PR has done.

I was fortunate enough to be involved with the work for clients from totally different backgrounds such as the Brisbane Boat Show, Domino’s and Quickbeds, and was able to get my hands dirty with many interesting tasks, such as helping to prepare media teasers, brainstorming on ideas to promote the clients on social media platforms, drafting media releases and invitations and doing research using various databases.

Overall, I am really pleased as I got to learn so many things and was given challenging tasks that allowed me to grow and learn at a much faster pace. It has also given me the opportunity to learn about my own strengths and weaknesses and how I can leverage and work on them to better myself professionally.

With a diverse range of clients, a powerful and passionate team and creative and inspiring company etiquette, Red PR has been a perfect place to begin my journey into the world of Public Relations. Not only have I acquired invaluable knowledge through all of my experiences here, but I have met some incredible people who have been really helpful and given me so many learning opportunities throughout my time at Red. Red PR has further stroked my interest in PR and I look forward to the day I graduate and exercise the knowledge I have acquired from my internship stint here.
